The work crew was friendly and helpful in explaining what they planned to do each day. They also listened to and answered any concerns that we had during the project.
I was pleased at the neatness of the site during the project. It was cleaned up and organized at the end of each day. I especially appreciated the care taken to see that all of the hardware (nails, screws etc.) were cleaned up so that they didn’t become a hazard to people or car tires.
There were several unexpected items found during the removal of the old siding. All of them were addressed and the inner structure repaired properly. I was impressed at the professional care taken even in places that are not visible after the new siding was installed.
The appearance is nothing short of perfect. The colors and design are exactly what we envisioned from the pre project renderings. The workmanship is excellent, I did not see anything that was not professionally done.

Kevin, the owner, is exactly what you want in a contractor. We put off getting our exterior done for way too long. We were going to go with stucco, but after some research decided fiber cement was the way to go. I saw Kevin’s ad, then watch some of his profession videos of the homes he’s done. I contacted him after hours, but he called me back within a hour. He personally came over and sat with me and my husband. He did not pressure the sale. Every contact was by him personally. Siding Pro did a wonderful job on the transformation of our home. They always communicated with us about each step in the renovation process and adhered to the schedule that they promised. We were very satisfied with our experience with Siding Pro. Many contractors will make promises about when the work will be started and how long it will take, and do not follow through on their promises. Siding Pro set the schedule and followed through on their commitment. They did a great job in communicating with us. When some trim work was not added that we requested, they made sure to add the trim and even gave us several options on how they could do the work. In each step of the renovation, they inspected the work with us to make sure everything was completed properly.
We live in an area that has mostly stucco homes. We wanted a product that would perform well in our dry climate with extremes in temperature. We know that there are people in this area that would like to have a quality product other than stucco. There is a definite need in our area for the services and products that Siding Pro offers. There are currently no contractors in our county that are trained in installing James Hardie siding. Siding Pro made the extra effort to be able to do the work in our county.

My wife and I decided to re-side our home with James Hardie siding because of the quality of the material and the ability to maintain our home’s architectural look and feel. The next decision was to choose a contractor. After some web searches and suggestions on the James Hardie website, I came across Kevin Orf and Siding Pro. The reviews for Siding Pro were impressive so we met with Kevin and discussed our home with him. Being retired engineers, we probably blindsided Kevin with a lengthy list of questions, concerns and issues which he satisfactorily discussed with us at length. During our discussions Kevin provided us with a list of references where we discovered an acquaintance who had used Siding Pro to re-side their home. It was nice to get a friend’s feedback as well.
We obviously chose Siding Pro to re-side our home. As this is a significant upgrade to our home it was nice to feel like Kevin was not just a contractor, but part of the process. As work progressed on our home I decided the impressive reviews we read upfront were earned and deserved. Kevin was always accessible and responsive to our questions. When the old siding was removed a few minor issues were revealed. Again, Kevin took the time to explain them to us, make suggestions for their resolution, and made sure we were on board and felt comfortable with the chosen solution. The workers were courteous, knowledgeable and obviously skilled. They were truly craftsman who took pride in their work. The work areas were tidied up at the end of each workday. Prior to the residing I had a deck replaced. I really appreciated the effort the workers made to protect the new deck surface.

“Those guys are not just construction people, they are craftsmen, and they did a really good job on our home. Every single day my wife and I look at our home and say how good they did and how well protected our house is now. Kevin and his guys did a really great job.
These guys worked really hard all day and made a big mess, but they cleaned it up every night. They put everything back, organized it, put their equipment back, put covers over it, picked up all the trash. Kevin, the boss, was very good. He was not what we were used to. We were used to having the boss come by every other day or so, but Kevin came by every day and came to see me and made sure everything was okay by my perspective. He also went to every one of his guys and if they had any shortage of materials he would take care of that right away. Sometimes when I noticed a little issue here or there, Kevin would come up to me and mention it to me before I could mention it to him. Kevin told me “We’re going to correct that tomorrow morning, don’t worry.” That’s just one little example, but everyday Kevin was on top of everything, and my wife and I were both impressed by Kevin and the guys.
The materials that these guys use, not everyone is going to be willing to pay for. But for people who really want to improve the quality and comfort of their home are really going to want these guys. We had the front of our house re-sided in 2007 but couldn’t afford to have the rest completed at the same time. Looking back, I’m glad we waited because Siding Pro did much better work than the first company we hired (which is now, unsurprisingly, out of business). Siding Pro tore off our old siding, wrapped the house, installed replacement windows and created holes for new windows, and installed new siding. There were a few hiccups here and there, as is normal with any construction project, but throughout the project we were very pleased with the work Siding Pro did.
The installers were kind, respectful, and easy to get along with. They put down tarps under their saws to keep sawdust off our patio and walkways, they had good attention to detail while installing, and they asked for our opinion on things before moving forward with any part of the project that could be completed in multiple ways. Siding Pro installed the Hardie Board siding to a rental I own in the downtown area. As part of the project they had to remove two layers of siding on the house…one of which had lead paint present. Kevin and his team were very professional during all of our interactions. It was great to get the online updates of what was happening at the house since I wasn’t there to see all the progress. Kevin also referred me to a colleague of his who helped me add insulation to the house that was built in 1920 and didn’t have any insulation.

Siding Pro took down old cedar siding from our house and disposed of it, than they wrapped a plastic sheeting (Hardie wrap around the entire house and installed concrete siding and trim, after it was done they painted the exterior. It was all done in a timely and professional manner. Kevin (the owner) was there everyday checking on progress and addressing any issues. We had a hard time deciding on paint color and Kevin himself came and painted some siding and trim on the house so we could see how it looks on the house. We had the front of our house re-sided in 2007 but couldn’t afford to have the rest completed at the same time. Looking back, I’m glad we waited because Siding Pro did much better work than the first company we hired (which is now, unsurprisingly, out of business). Siding Pro tore off our old siding, wrapped the house, installed replacement windows and created holes for new windows, and installed new siding. There were a few hiccups here and there, as is normal with any construction project, but throughout the project we were very pleased with the work Siding Pro did.

In a word, GREAT! If we had realized what a beautiful difference the new siding would make we would have done this years ago. Kevin employs true professionals who really care about the quality of their work and they have the skills to deliver. They showed up for work on time every time, and treated us in a friendly professional manner. We just sat back and enjoyed the process. However, I think the single thing that sets Siding Pro and Kevin Orf apart from just about any other contractor I have worked with (many) is Kevin’s attention to detail and communication, communication, communication. Kevin visited our home(jobsite) at least every morning and afternoon and we were never left wondering what to expect or when to expect it. When it came time to settle up, there were no surprises either. We paid exactly the amount of the original quote. He had reliable, qualified workers for dealing with down spouts and gutters and a very experienced painting crew. We choose the paint on site option because we wanted a specific color combo. I think the best way to describe the workmanship came from a couple of Kevin’s workers during a conversation I had with them. They said “we treat our work as if we were working on our own home”.
The siding of our 4300 sf home had been in place since new in 1981. Weather and woodpeckers had taken it’s toll. A neighbor had recently replaced their siding with James Hardie fiber cement siding and we wanted to do the same. Kevin came to our house, measured, took photos, and then returned with not only a very fair cost estimate but also much information on the process, and computer simulation of the different looks available for our home. Took off old rotting 35 yr old board and baton siding off my two story colonial house (back side was three stories) and disposed of it. Replaced with Hardie Siding. Trimmed windows/doors. I had originally wanted to stucco the house because of cost. But after doing my research, I really wanted to go with the superior fiber cement product that James Hardie produces. My family and I just felt that siding is just a better fit/look for a colonial house. The extra cost and pleasure of working with Siding Pro was well worth it. We hired Siding Pro to replace all of our siding and painted the whole exterior. We also had stone added to our entire chimney and the front of our garage. Tore off all old siding and replaced with James Hardie siding that was pre-colored and needed no painting. Replaced two windows in garage. Replaced soffit in front of house and had it painted along with the rest of the soffit around the house. Had garage doors and pedestrian doors painted to match trim color. Kevin and the crew were very open to taking care of any problems/issues that arose and several did and they were taken care of to everybody’s satisfaction. Some issues arose during the job that were not planned for and Kevin covered those with no additional cost to the homeowner. Crew did a very nice job of cleaning up at the end of each day. We recently had Siding Pro replaced the siding on our old 1920s house in Palmer Lake. Kevin Orf (the owner) was the most prepared of the several companies we had bid the job, and although the price for the James Hardie siding was a bit more than other options, we were impressed both by the product and by Kevin’s commitment to service. The Hardie siding can be painted, a real positive over pre-colored vinyl siding. We were able to select the paint colors for the house, the trim, and accents. The painting crew did great work. Kevin Orf had his crew took down the old siding, wrapped the house in Hardie wrap, put on the Hardie cement board siding and painted the house in the color I chose.It is very important to Mr Orf that he honors his word. He told me my job would start on a certain date and when that was not possible for his crew, he obtained an excellent Hardie crew from Denver to do the job. The crew started at 8am and worked until dark each night with barely a half hour off for lunch. The other thing I much appreciated was that the crew made minor repairs as they went along and there were many as the original builders had taken quite a few shortcuts. They would also point out any glaring problems they found. The painters were equally conscientious. The crew did not work in inclement weather and Mr. Orf always called to let me know what the status was. He also shows up on site several times daily and makes a video each day to show the progress on the house which he posts on Facebook. Tore original siding off and put new Hardie Fiber Cement Siding and Rock on our house and external garage. It started late due to all the rain in May but once it got going it went very well. They removed the original siding, wrapped the house and external garage to protect it from the weather, applied the hardie siding, rock facing, and two areas of contrast siding. They painted it and our shutters and put them on. There was some concern over workers showing up at in the beginning due to vehicle problems but after that it was smooth. The guys worked hard and cleaned up after themselves daily. The siding looks fantastic and we love it. It really changed the look of our house after 13 years of the same color and weathered siding. Kevin was great and very responsive to requests. He visited the site daily to check on progress and gave us updates on Facebook of the actual work taking place each day. The workers were friendly and professional. We are looking forward to many years of low to no maintenance home care. We will worry less about harsh Colorado weather and natural disasters.

The work started at the beginning of May 2015, which proved to be the wettest May on record in Colorado Springs. Needless to say, this slowed the project down considerably, but Kevin communicated regularly regarding weather delays and revised scheduling. Kevin was extremely patient as we looked at multiple options for siding type (his renderings were invaluable), and he worked with us to make sure things were detailed the way we wanted. We are very picky and asked for quite a few things to be changed – not because the work had been done “wrong”, but because it just wasn’t how we wanted it. Kevin never hesitated to make the changes. Clearly our satisfaction was his goal. His crewmembers were always polite and hard working, and we enjoyed having them around. We only had two significant issues, neither of which caused lasting harm. On one occasion, a gable vent was inadvertently left open after Kevin’s crew finished for the weekend. It began to rain hard the next day (Sunday). We called Kevin, and he and a carpenter were out in no time to cover the opening before any rain got into the attic. The dryer vent, which is located in an awkward spot had a very small hood on it which was accidentally partially blocked by the siding. When we realized what had happened a few weeks after all the work was done, I texted Kevin (late on a Friday evening). He texted back almost immediately and then came by to check it out the next morning. He had two of his carpenters there that afternoon, and they carefully cut a hole and installed a new, much better, vent cover.
We believe our project was complicated, given the age (60+ years old) and construction of the home (a mix of frame and CMU) and its multiple additions. Kevin handled all the challenges with professionalism and good grace, and we (and our neighbors) love the final result. We hired a contractor and gained a friend – and a beautiful and maintainable new exterior to our home. We would strongly recommend Kevin and Siding Pro to anyone considering this kind of work.

Resided a 1890’s home with amazing Hardie Board siding. Also, replaced gutters to create a finished look. Kevin at Siding Pro is extremely customer oriented and provides a great service. We decided to go with Hardie Board after shopping the market. The product is by far superior to anything else on the market, especially when you live in an area prone to hail storms. The cost is a little high but you get what you pay for.
From the preplanning, installation, to follow up…Kevin was there the entire way. We enjoyed the fact that he helped us to keep the charm of our old Victorian. Siding Pro did a total re-do of our siding for our home. Our home had hail damage from the last 12 months which showed on the home, paint was chipping away and parts of the siding were coming off. Siding Pro replaced water damage that was found under my old siding for free and also painted parts of my house for no additional cost. I feel the product they offered (reinforced fiber cement siding) will last a lifetime and holdup to the Colorado hail. They also deal with premium paint (Sherwin Williams) which has a great long warranty. With Siding Pro coupon deals and customer based deals we were able to spend the extra and get stone added to our home, this adds more value then what we paid for to the home and I would recommend this to anyone considering using this contractor.
Unlike other contractors that leave a worksite trashed up that I have seen through friends and family, Siding Pro contractors left the work areas clean at the end of every day. Siding Pro’s finishing days were good as they responded to my requests for additional work, like filling in lines and molding areas, and paint which the site manager agreed with before the final walkthrough. I recommend using this contactor if you have not had any major work done on your house before as they are knowledgeable and will walk you through recommendations on your home. My experiences were great and the daily videos the company post show you the work being done when you are not there to see it yourself (big bonus for me). The work of Siding Pro exceeded expectations. Kevin worked closely with us from start to finish. As items were found with the home as lack of insulation, rotten columns on the porch, no horizontal boards on the home etc, they were repaired to meet standards. Would highly recommend.
